‘L’Ancresse’

Mauve (H2) flowers, VIII–IX; buds are distinctly white at the base; dark green foliage; height 46–60cm; spread 31–45cm.

Wild-collected; found in the L’Ancresse area of Guernsey by David McClintock (Platt, Kent, England) in 1969.

Named after the area where found on Guernsey, Channel Islands.
