Crimson flowers, IX–X; mid-green foliage; upright.
An un-named plant (which had been imported from Denmark) purchased about 1980 in a flower-shop at Vargön by Mrs Brita Johansson (Vargön, Sweden); named by Mrs Johansson by 1995 and introduced in 1995 by Henry Olofsson (Ödsby Nursery, Munkedal, Sweden).
Name is the Swedish word röding means “something red”, an allusion to the flower colour. It is also the name for a fish related to salmon.
