Mauve (H2) flowers, VII–VIII; bronze-yellow foliage, changing to bronze-red in winter; vigorous, upright; height 31–45cm; spread 46–60cm.
Found by J. Dekker (Mijdrecht, Netherlands); introduced by P. G. Zwijnenburg (Boskoop, Netherlands) in 1975.
Named after the finder’s dog (see also Calluna vulgaris ‘Golden Max’ and ‘Orange Max’).
