Pale amethyst (H1) flowers, VIII–IX, giving a silvery hue to the plant; mid-green foliage, shoots with brown tips; erect; height 31–45cm; spread 31–45cm.
Wild-collected on Ginkelse Heide, near Arnhem, by Dr Ir T. Visser (Wageningen, Netherlands) before 1972; introduced by W. Haalboom & Zonen (Drieberg, Netherlands) in 1972.
Named after the finder’s daughter, Sandra.
