Lilac-pink (H11) flowers, VIII–X; gold foliage in summer, red in autumn and winter, bronzing slightly in spring; spreading; height 16–20cm; spread 31–45cm.
Found by J. W. Sparkes (Beechwood Nursery, Beoley, Redditch, Worcestershire, England); introduced by J. W. Sparkes in 1963.
Name alludes to the foliage colour.
